| Patron Saint on Eastern Wall of Adoration Chapel. |

|
The Altar Society places two Flower Arrangements
on the main altar each week which may be used for your wedding. If you choose, however, to use a florist, two arrangements
must remain on the altar in lieu of the flowers the Altar Society would
have provided. It is required that you or your florist contact the Altar Society for guidance regarding
vases, floral delivery, and candle placement. Sanctuary candles and seasonal altar coverings must remain in
place.
IMPORTANT ADVISORY: Some people have severe
allergies to flowers! Lilies are the main culprit and are not permitted in the Basilica. Please verify with your florist that
no lilies of any variety will be used in your floral arrangements.
The Basilica of St. Lawrence is registered as a National
Historic Site. The
usage of tacks, nails, tape, etc., to secure flowers, palms, or other decorations to church walls, furniture or fixtures is
strictly prohibited. The use of plastic clips made especially for pew bows is strongly recommended. Rice, flower petals, bird seed, or bubbles, are not permitted in the
Basilica or outside on the grounds.
